Races will take place from mid-June onwards.
The 32 Counties International Pigeon Racing was formed in 2020. The organisation covers the whole of the island of Ireland. The aim of this group is to foster, encourage and grow International Pigeon Racing on the island of Ireland for all comers who wish to take part.
The bi-weekly races from 2022 will take place across the UK and into mainland Europe eventually out to Eastern Germany or Poland. Through this it is the aim of the organisation to encourage and foster Long and Extreme Distance pigeon Racing into Ireland with a view for participants to compete within the International Competition. Birds will be convoyed from designated points around the Provinces (see General Participation Rules).
To Promote and support ALL Irish Fanciers wishing to send to continental and International races with 32 Counties International Pigeon Racing. Creating more opportunities for additional races from Mainland Europe added to what is provided by the all of the existing Irish Pigeon Racing Organisations.
To provide independent training races where feasible over land within Ireland for Fanciers wishing to take part. To provide independent Uk and Contenental Racing when numbers dictate that it this is feasible.
An ALL of Island result will be used provided for all participants taking part. This will provide and all Island Inclusive Result for those taking part.
From the start International Competition with the Federation Colombophile Internationale (FCI) will be the end goal of the 32 Counties International Pigeon Racing. The intention is that in time all Irish Fanciers, competing in arguably the toughest terrain in any racing program the world over, to take their place against European International Competition.
There will be no birdage limit on any of the racing provided. Fanciers are permitted to send a minimum of 1 Pigeon to take part to an unlimited number as they wish. The cost of sending per pigeon is as per conditions laid out in the General Participation Rules.
The fees for taking part with the 32 Counties International Pigeon Racing events is €100 per individual or partnership. This will cover a minimum of 4 races per year.
